Ragic Partner Peter Teichroeb Scaled a Business 6x—Now He Builds Systems for Other Businesses to Scale
“I just ask them to clarify what they need, what they want, what they expect—and I work off of that.”
That’s how Peter Teichroeb, a trusted Ragic Partner, builds systems for all kinds of industries—aviation, construction, tourism, and more.
Ragic is a no-code database builder that lets anyone create their own system, even without a programming background. You don’t need to write a single line of code—just build your system through an intuitive interface that makes sense. After all, no one understands your workflow better than you.
But building a system from scratch isn’t always the most efficient route. Maybe you don’t have time. Or maybe you’d rather leave it to someone who’s done it before, and can do it faster. These people? We call them Ragic Consulting Partners. These are experienced builders, some with coding backgrounds, who take your workflow and turn it into a fully functional system that fits your business.
Peter Teichroeb is one of the partners that Ragic Support Team sends users his way pretty often, helping users short on time or needing advanced features like API integrations and JavaScript workflows. Why? Because our support team constantly hears glowing feedback: “You understood the task better than I envisioned,” raves Crocodile Bay, a tourism client.
It all begins from an in-house project
Peter first discovered Ragic while working as a Production Manager at a site furnishing company, Wishbone Site Furnishings. He was asked to automate operations, and Ragic became his tool of choice. The result? The company grew their revenue sixfold with the system Peter built. Even after he moved on, they kept him on board to maintain and expand it. Soon after, Peter was referred to other entrepreneurs, hence, the beginning of being a Ragic Consulting Partner.
And to this day, Ragic is Peter’s go-to-tool.
"I've tried different ones afterward; I even tried Wix, thinking maybe I could use it as a database and mimic what Ragic does. But no. It's just so much more complicated. I also tried Backendless—they’re very flexible, but hard to work with. The learning curve is through the roof.
With Ragic, everything just clicks. It's logical, powerful, and easy to use. Here in Canada, a lot of businesses haven’t heard of it, but once I show them what it can do, they’re always impressed."
While Peter is an expert in no-code database design in Ragic, his skills go far beyond that. Over time, he has developed scripting expertise that allows him to push the boundaries of what’s possible with Ragic. Imagine Ragic as an Excel spreadsheet on steroids. With Peter’s advanced scripting capabilities, he enhanced Ragic’s already powerful features, creating fully customized automation tools tailored to every business need. Making booking management simpler for the tourism industry (Crocodile Bay)
Many Ragic users need a booking system, businesses like fitness studios use it to schedule personal training sessions. Others manage internal reservations for equipment or meeting rooms. During COVID, businesses with physical storefronts used Ragic to manage daily customer visits.
Depending on what works best for them, users either go with Ragic’s built-in Reservation System Report, which offers a clean and easy interface for customer-facing bookings, or they just directly use Ragic sheet, a straightforward spreadsheet style interface to handle the booking info. Both options work well for everyday bookings. It really just depends on what you prefer.
For Crocodile Bay, a fishing resort in Costa Rica, reservations are their lifeline—and a lot to juggle. Guests book fishing trips, eco-tours, kayaks, paddleboards, 4x4 jeeps, boats, and tour guides, each with its own quirks: different group sizes, limited availability, maintenance schedules, or guides’ days off. It’s a web of moving parts. Basic booking is not enough for them. Peter tailored Ragic sheet with some extra JavaScript workflows to make sense of it all:
- Multiple bookings with quotas: He adjusted the system so resources, like a boat, could take multiple bookings up to their limit—say, 10 passengers—instead of just one per time slot.
- On-hold logic: Group tours stay open until full, but private ones lock when reserved. If a kayak’s in for repairs or a guide’s unavailable, it’s automatically off the list.
Without a system, it was all manual work—checking papers, calling staff, piecing together what was free or not. Now, Ragic’s system, fine-tuned by Peter, keeps all those variables in sync. It’s all available in between 5 seconds clicks. No overbookings, no mix-ups. Need to know what’s available? Ragic’s reports show it in a glance, not a frantic search.
Simplifying Invoice Payments for Machinery Sales (Coast Machinery Group)
Handling sales order management in Ragic is one of the most common use cases among users. Creating a quote, converting it to a sales order, sending out invoices, and handling payments through third-party services like Stripe can all be done in just a few clicks. Intuitive setup, no developer, not a single line of code needed.
Coast Machinery Group wanted to take their payment process a step further, including a payment button in their invoice emails, so their customers—who don’t use Ragic—could simply receive the invoice by email and proceed to payment. With Peter’s API scripting skills, he made it happen. Payment has never been smoother for Coast Machinery Group.
Providing ongoing support, training, and problem-solving for your digital workflows
Once having Peter as a Ragic Partner, any Ragic related problem, Peter will be the first line to solve. Not only that, if you also have a knack for developing a database, want to get on hands with the database building but need assistance here and there? Peter can also provide training.
Having Peter as a partner and Ragic like a tool is like having a digitalization assistant that grows together with your company. If your workflow changes, or your company grows? Ragic’s flexibility and Peter’s long-term cooperation makes it easy. Like Wishbone, the company where Peter has worked as an operation manager before, where he discovered Ragic. Originally only handling Wishbone’s operation in Ragic, due to the business growth, they need more transparency in Sales and Production between Wishbone and their sister company, Wellington Foundry. Peter got it done. When your business scales, Ragic and Peter scale with you.
These are just a few examples of what’s possible with Ragic, and with Peter’s help, if you want it. If building your database yourself isn’t the best use of your time, or if you want someone to enhance what you’ve already started, Peter is here to help.
