After building your database, you'll often need to share sheets or records with clients or partners who don't have a Ragic account. Here are three ways to do this.
Share This Sheet: If you want others to fill out new records, such as an event registration form, survey, or feedback form, you can use the Share This Sheet feature. There are two ways to share a sheet: share the Raw sheet URL directly, which is suited for internal users with access rights, or generate a Data collection URL similar to an online survey, which is suited for external users without an account.
Share This Entry: Use this feature to share an existing record, for example, allowing a customer to modify their "Sales Orders". Provide a link and choose between Read Only or Editable mode, with an optional expiration time. Besides copying the link, you can also send it directly via WhatsApp.
Embedding on Your Website: Use this feature to integrate a sheet directly into your own website, choosing to display it in view, search, or fill-out mode as needed. This lets visitors use your database's functionality directly, without needing to log in to a Ragic account.
Overall, Share This Sheet works best for collecting new records, Share This Entry is ideal for viewing or editing a single record, and Embedding on Your Website integrates your database directly into your own website. You can use these methods depending on your needs.
