NCC Real-Name Registration Application

Under Taiwan's Fraud Crime Hazard Prevention Act, all SMS messages sent to Taiwan phone numbers must be sent by a registered sender. Messages must also display a recognizable sender name. SMS messages from unregistered senders will be automatically blocked by telecom providers.

To avoid service interruption, Ragic will suspend SMS sending to Taiwan phone numbers for databases that have not completed registration starting August 1, 2026. Please complete the information below before the deadline.

[b]I. Sender Name Requirements[/b]

1. The sender name must be the official or commonly recognized name of your company, brand, event, organization, or school. A commonly used abbreviation is recommended.

2. If your SMS exceeds 70 Chinese characters, place the sender name at the beginning of the message.
3. The sender name must be clearly included in the SMS content. Otherwise, the message may be automatically blocked by telecom providers.

Applicant Declaration (hereinafter “the Applicant”)

The Applicant confirms that they have fully read and agree to the following terms:

[b]1. Real-name registration authorization[/b]
The Applicant represents and warrants that the sender name and all supporting documents provided are true, complete, and not falsified. The Applicant authorizes Ragic to apply for commercial SMS real-name registration with telecom operators or SMS service providers on the Applicant’s behalf.

[b]II. Legal use of personal data[/b]
The Applicant represents and warrants that all mobile numbers of SMS recipients are collected in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act and other applicable laws. The collection, processing, and use of such data are consistent with the purpose of SMS delivery. For marketing SMS, the Applicant must provide a legally required opt-out method. If a recipient opts out, the Applicant must immediately stop sending marketing messages to that recipient.

[b]III. Liability for violations[/b]
The Applicant agrees to be liable for damages if any of the following directly cause losses to Ragic or its affiliates:

1. Providing false, incomplete, or falsified application information.
2. Sending commercial SMS containing unapproved URLs, short links, or phone numbers.
3. Violating the Personal Data Protection Act, Fraud Crime Hazard Prevention regulations, NCC commercial SMS real-name rules, or other applicable laws in Taiwan.
4. Failing to provide a legally compliant opt-out mechanism for marketing SMS.

Any administrative fines, civil liabilities, or legal costs (including attorney fees) arising from the above shall be borne by the Applicant. If Ragic pays any such costs on behalf of the Applicant, the Applicant agrees to fully reimburse Ragic.
