Basic Information

Purpose of Use

I acknowledge that the selected "SMS type" (Notification, Marketing, or Other) accurately reflects the SMS messages I intend to send. I understand and agree that:

1. If I send messages outside the selected scope (for example, selecting Notification but sending marketing messages, or selecting Taiwan numbers only but sending messages to international numbers), I will be in violation of the [url=https://www.ragic.com/sims/reg/sms-tos.html]Ragic SMS Terms of Service[/url]. Ragic may suspend or terminate my SMS sending service immediately without prior notice.

2. If I need to expand the selected scope (for example, to include Marketing messages), I must submit a new application and complete any required compliance procedures, such as providing proof of recipient consent. Until the updated application is approved, I must not send messages outside the approved scope.

3. I am responsible for any losses incurred by Ragic as a result of violating this acknowledgment, including but not limited to fines imposed by Twilio or telecommunications providers, service suspension, legal fees, settlement costs, and reputational damage. I agree to reimburse Ragic within 30 days of receiving written notice.

NCC Real-Name Registration Application

Pursuant to the Fraud Crime Hazard Prevention Act, all SMS messages sent to Taiwan phone numbers must have the sender complete real-name registration. The SMS content must include an identifiable sender name; messages from unregistered senders will be automatically intercepted by telecom carriers. To ensure uninterrupted SMS service, please fill in the following information.
The following are the SMS real-name regulations:

Use the officially registered or publicly recognized organization name (company / brand / event / association / school); abbreviated common names are recommended.
If the SMS exceeds 70 Chinese characters, it is recommended to place the [Real Name] at the beginning of the message.
The SMS content must clearly display the [Real Name]; otherwise it will be automatically blocked by the telecom carrier's system.

[b]I. Real-Name Registration Authorization[/b]
The Applicant declares and warrants that the sender name and supporting documents provided are truthful, complete, and unaltered, and authorizes Ragic to apply for commercial SMS real-name registration with telecom carriers or SMS aggregators on their behalf.

[b]II. Lawful Use of Personal Data[/b]
The Applicant declares and warrants that all recipient mobile numbers were lawfully collected in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act and other applicable regulations, and that the purpose of collection, processing, and use is consistent with the purpose of sending SMS messages. When sending marketing SMS messages, the Applicant shall provide recipients with a means to opt out of marketing in accordance with applicable laws, and shall immediately cease sending marketing messages to any recipient who expresses such refusal.

[b]III. Liability for Violations[/b]
The Applicant acknowledges that if the following actions directly cause damage to Ragic or its affiliates, the Applicant shall be liable for compensation in accordance with the law:

1. Providing false, incomplete, or forged application materials;
2. Sending commercial SMS messages containing URLs, short URLs, or phone numbers not pre-approved by the telecom carrier;
3. Violating the Personal Data Protection Act, the Fraud Crime Hazard Prevention Act, NCC commercial SMS real-name regulations, or other currently applicable laws of the Republic of China;
Failing to provide recipients with a means to opt out of marketing at any time when sending marketing SMS messages.
4. All administrative fines, civil damages, and litigation-related costs (including attorney's fees) arising from the above shall be borne solely by the Applicant. If Ragic pays any such costs on the Applicant's behalf, the Applicant agrees that Ragic may seek full reimbursement.

Marketing SMS Requires Recipient Consent

Under international regulations such as the U.S. TCPA and the EU GDPR, sending marketing SMS messages requires prior explicit consent from recipients, and records must be retained. Violations may result in legal liability. For commercial SMS messages sent to Taiwan numbers, if the message content contains a URL, that URL must first pass the telecom carrier's whitelist review in accordance with NCC regulations before it can be delivered. URLs that have not been reviewed (including but not limited to free URL shortening services such as bit.ly, tinyurl, lihi, etc.) will result in failed delivery.
